As a contractor that's worked with and for D.D. Ford over the last several years, I cannot say anything bad about them. They are professional in every way, and the quality of the work I've observed is 1st class. I've dealt with most every job superintendent, and the department they've set up to provide service to their customers long after the initial project is complete. The other reviews I've read here are petty. Really, an employee almost ran over your foot?
