    Though I like Dr. Brennan as a person, I cannot recommend him or Sutter Health. A couple years ago, my son came down with mono. Dr. Brennan misdiagnosed him and prescribed antibiotics. Luckily, we never gave them to him, because antibiotics are contraindicated for mono and can cause a painful rash. (He was later diagnosed correctly at urgent care.)

    More recently, I requested a lab order so that I could have my son's iron levels checked. Dr. Brennan insisted on doing this via a telehealth visit, which lasted only two minutes.     Please avoid this doctor at all costs. A primary care physician really has only one critical job and that is to catch a serious illness early on and immediately transfer a patient to the correct specialist for care. Unfortunately, for our son, Dr. Brennan did the opposite.

    Some time ago, our child was in the process of developing a serious illness. We came with them to Dr. Brennan, who at the time was his primary physician, multiple times. During all our visits and video calls he was extremely dismissive and incredulous, ignored what we were saying and belittled us.     If I could leave a 0 star, I would. Dr. Daniel Brennan is not the main pediatrician of our daughter, and we were just seeing him because our main pediatrician was not available at the moment. If this serves as a reason for him to be rushy and not caring about my kid, then I am sorry for him. From the beginning, there was no communication at all before trying to rush into a strep test. My kid was suffering from high fever and stomachache and showed reluctance. He then asked us to go back and if the kid doesn't get better tomorrow, come back and see our main pediatrician.
