I wrote this 2 years ago, and the place is still terrific - still going strong, still doing the basics... MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!

This place has just re-opened after 2 1/2 months of Corona virus mandated shutdown. They are careful about customer flow, disinfecting the chairs and tools, masks required for everyone - and I got a great haircut! I will definitely return - they do much better work than the chains. Call ahead for an appointment - and you may have to wait a few days before they can fit you in...

Stopped in because I live walking distance and needed a trim pretty badly. It was after the work day but they stayed open for me. John did an very clean cut and shaved the back of my neck and around the ears. I was impressed. Took a little longer than I thought, but the conversation was steady. My wife was pleased with the look when I got home. FYI it's cash only here, but there's an ATM at the liquor store not a block away.
