School of Art has been providing art classes for all ages since 2006. It started in Williamsburg, Va, and expanded to California in 2016. The studio offers a safe, inspiring, and fun environment where students can grow and develop their artistic skills. The classes are well-equipped and designed to challenge students in a variety of mediums. Many students, from children to adults, have experienced success and confidence through her encouraging and lighthearted teaching style. The owner is a gifted artist who helps students find their preferred medium or excel in many. It is a place where students can learn foundational skills, create beautiful drawings, and have fun. Parents appreciate the safe environment for their children and enjoy seeing their masterpieces. Adults also enjoy taking classes, working on personal projects, and improving their skills. Overall, School of Art is highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring or growing in art.
Honestly, I like going to Ms. Tina’s class, because I get to learn how to draw people, dogs, cats, animals, vehicles, objects, and other stuff. In fact, one of my favorite art courses that I took with her, is soft pastels because I get to add dark, and light colors by blending it. Therefore, even though I am on the autism spectrum, Ms. Tina still cares for me, and always wonders how I am doing outside of class.
Over the past six years I’ve sent both my daughters to school of art. It’s a great program, but what makes it extra special and inviting is Tina. My daughter calls her “the mother,” and that’s what she is to her students. She’s nurturing and stern, she’s loving and encouraging, and through this type of instruction, manifests beautiful artwork by her students. I highly recommend school of art.
This art studio is a magical place! It is beautiful and well equipped.
Tina Rodriguez is one of the most wonderful humans I have ever met. I think she has as much fun as her students.
