My wife and I took dancing classes from Elio. We took classes for our wedding’s first dance and let me say that it’s the best decision we ever made! He was able to put together a choreography that’s beginner friendly (this was crucial since neither my wife or I know how to dance). I would say something that made it extra easy was that Elio really tries to get to know you by asking questions like where you guys met, what do you like about each other, etc.. My journey with RF dance studio began earlier this year. I had been in search of a new dance studio after ending my lessons at a ballroom dance studio. I was in search of a similar setting, but also aimed to save money. Through group on I had bought passes and tried several classes with various Social Salsa and Bachata groups with out the quality that i was looking for, they all taught combos and broke down the steps primarily focused on the leads role. If you always wanted to learn bachata, check out this studio. Very beginner friendly and much more attention than learning in a social setting. Instructors are knowledgeable and they do offer good feedback for the students. You get to see regulars come every week and will likely meet nice people! They have a bunch of basics and foundational classes for newbies. Check them out if you don't want to drive out to LA and want a studio that has similarly interested students learning more about latin dance forms.
