I originally was really excited about this place because of the self service dog wash and I used it several times but then it started to get mildewy and never looked like it was cleaned. Now they don't offer it at all. The pet treats made in house are really expensive. I've bought several for my dog and she won't even eat them. Their pet supplies are also really sparse, and more about finding cute pet themed stuff than a practical selection. Overpriced too. Now they are also closed 2 days a week. Really no point in going here when there is a Petco on the same street.

I paid these hustlers at Li'ttix Salon/Petlingo Grooming per contract to reserve three appointments for a hand stripping for my dog back in September 2021. My wife started calling, emailing, and texting in January and has called numerous times to set an appointment and the receptionist will only take a message and responds that she will have Glen (owner) call you back. We have been taking our dog here for 8 years and the receptionist acts as if we are putting her out or too busy to set an appointment. How disappointing that after 8 years they tell us to cancel rather than accommodate us. They will not abide by the contract we signed and set an appointment for my dog. Today my wife calls again, and Glen had surgery and is out, for how long is a mystery. When will Glen be back to work? She replies, Idk. Is it going to be one month, two months, etc.? Idk. Are you planning on honoring the contract you made us sign? Again, Idk. Is there another groomer who can do it? No, only Glen. I thought, well it's time for a refund. Ok, no prob. The receptionist, Shelly, the rude ringleader, says after you fill out the paperwork it will take 90 days to get your refund. I said 90 days to refund my money you've been holding for 9 months why not just cut a check? reply, it takes 90 days for a refund. If you can't perform the service, you're contractually obligated to just give my money back now and be done. Reply, because nobody ever cancels except for you, so it takes 90 days to get your refund. This groomer has closed down two shops and now is giving us the run-around. So, if you don't bring your dog in or miss an appointment, they've no problem taking your money, per contract. If you don't meet their rules, you're still SOL and they will keep your money.

I procrastinated and waited until the last minute to get a little birthday cake for a friend's dog. Luckily, when I came, they had a variety of freshly baked (baked that morning) cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I got a little bit of everything. The salesperson was awesome and such a great help (sorry I didn't get your name kind salesperson).

Came here to wash our dog and the attendants said the wash room was "on hold" for 2 huskies. The wash room was completely open and the other dogs weren't supposed to arrive for another 10 minutes, but they wouldn't allow us to access the room for a quick wash. Attendants told us it would be a 2 hour wait to wash 2 dogs that weren't even there. Try calling ahead of time if you want to wash your dog here without waiting several hours.

The cakes at Petlingo are so pretty and my dog loves them. I bought a pink one for my little girl and a blue one for my little boy. It is so nice to see the products being made fresh at the stores and without all the junk ingredients. I'll be back for more!

I took my pup Kira to the self-service wash at Petlingo on Bristol (Santa Ana) and had a great experience! For only $12 you can bathe your pup using professional quality shampoo and conditioner with lots of little extras. There is only one bath area so it's first come, first served. But you can add your pet to the wait list and the staff will call you one the bath is free. Each pup gets 45 minutes in the bathing area, which is plenty of time. The bathing area consists of a huge professional stainless steel bath with a hose sprayer that can infuse shampoo or conditioner onto your pup. They also provide extra shampoo (regular or shed control) if you need it. The extra touches included in the $12 fee made the experience extra nice - a doggie toothbrush and toothpaste, a towelette to pre-dry your pup, the use of a pet blow dryer to dry you pet quickly. The staff is super friendly and make you and your pup feel welcomed! If you prefer bathing your pup yourself, this is the way to go. My baby came out smelling like she'd been at the groomers. The experience was Kira approved, which in the end is all that really matters!

Stopped by to get my dog a valentine's day treat. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Upon entering the store, I was overwhelmed with the amount of pet supplies they have. It's not the ugly accessories we think of when we think of a pet shop. Everything is "instaworthy". Everyone was very nice and friendly that worked there. The workers were knowledgeable about the ingredients of the cookie, which is super important, especially if your dog is allergic to something. I got the Valentine's Day cookie for my pup! It was decorated really cute:) They had other cookies that I will definitely try next time! $3.22 with tax for a dog cookie. They had a Valentine's Day special $10 for 3. Unfortunately I didn't get it because my dog does not need to start his 600 lb life lol. I'd come back if I was in the area again to shop!
