We had a great experience with MFK Construction. Gaspar and Abelardo, who were on-site, were professional, courteous, and communicated with us throughout the entire project. They always arrived on time, treated our home with respect, and cleaned up the work area at the end of every day.

The project included demolishing our existing balcony tile and subfloor, installing a new Life Deck waterproof decking system with new bonderized perimeter flashing, replacing the floor drain flashings, and painting everything to match the existing color scheme. They also removed old wood fixtures, repaired several areas of stucco, and replaced a few roof tiles.

I had a great experience working with MFK Construction and Maintenance, Inc. on a balcony reconstruction and waterproofing project.

From start to finish, Mitch and his crew were professional, communicative, and transparent throughout the entire process. Once demolition began, they uncovered significant hidden structural damage (rotted beam and joists) and clearly explained the issue, provided photos, and handled the repairs the right way without cutting corners.

I hired MFK to remove and replace an old balcony in my residence. Mitch visited the site and provided me with a detailed written proposal and a reasonable price. He also accommodated my comments and the changes I requested on some work items. He was very professional and we had great communication through completion of the project, exchanging multiple email messages and phone calls. The crew was always on time, efficient and responsive to my requests and cleaned up well at the end of each work day.
