About The Modern Doc Chiropractic
The Modern Doc Chiropractic provides a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to care. The doctor is described as the most knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate practitioner, passionate about helping patients feel their best. She is genuinely curious about the human body and is always learning through courses, reading, and research. She takes time to get a full picture of each patient's health and life, figuring out how to best help them even with rare or unusual conditions. Patients report feeling tremendously better physically and emotionally after visits, whether they arrive with pain, a migraine, or just feeling grumpy. The practice is more than traditional chiropractic; it is like a chiropractor, massage therapist, body worker, physical therapist, nutritional counselor, and life coach all in one. The doctor is extremely sensitive to the body's structural conditions and employs a very strong but gentle practice. She uses a number of methods and tools, explaining conditions clearly and teaching patients tools to stay pain-free. Reviews note specific success with eliminating sciatic nerve pain, leg numbness, and addressing a herniated disc with simple stretches and exercises, often providing solutions where other specialists could not. The office environment is calm and welcoming, making patients feel at ease from the moment they arrive. This thoughtful and comprehensive care is highly recommended by those who visit.
I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude for Sarah. I have seen various chiropractors for over half of my life and the activator technique is very different than what you expect from a chiropractor’s usual cracking. Do I miss hearing the cracking and the satisfaction of getting those adjustments? Yes but I don’t miss feeling like my adjustments don’t hold and that I feel achy in places that weren’t bothering me to begin with. Now I get adjustments where they’re needed and my quality of life has changed.

Dr. Merritt is the most knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate doctor I have ever come across. I can go in feeling pain, having a migraine, or just grumpy and negative and I always leave feeling tremendously better physically and emotionally. Trust Dr. Merritt with your body, she is passionate about helping you feel your best and has a number of methods and tools that can help you. Dr. Merritt is genuinely curious about and interested in the human body and is always learning - taking courses, reading, and researching. Even if Dr. Merritt is unfamiliar with what brings you in she will take the time to learn more and figure out how she can best help you. And she really cares about each and every person that sees her, taking time to get to know you and what's going on in your life. I have a number of rare and unusual health conditions and Dr. Merritt has been more knowledgeable and helpful than many of my specialists including pain management doctors. Dr. Merritt took the time to get a full picture of my health and come up with a plan to help me feel better. She even figured out why I was having leg numbness when highly acclaimed pain management doctors could not, despite their extensive diagnostic testing. Dr. Merritt recommended a simple stretch and it eliminated the numbness, saving me from having a nerve burning procedure (radiofrequency ablation) done. She also recommended a series of exercises for a herniated disc, meaning I didn't need a steroid epidural. Because she is always seeking knowledge about the human body and mind, Dr. Merritt is more than a traditional chiropractor. She is like a chiropractor, massage therapist, body worker, physical therapist, nutritional counselor, and life coach all rolled into one.
