I cannot say enough amazing things about Soo Dance Academy! From the moment we joined, my daughter and I felt welcomed into the warmest, most encouraging community. The environment here is filled with kindness, support, and a genuine love for dance that radiates from everyone—students, parents, and especially the incredible faculty.

The growth I’ve seen in my daughter since starting at Soo has been nothing short of extraordinary. She’s improved in every single style—jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, and more—but it’s the solid foundation in ballet that has truly transformed her into a stronger, more confident, and technically skilled dancer.

My child attended 1 quarter of Soo Dance (From Sept to Dec) I had high hopes for my child's dance passion, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. Not only did they overcharge parents, but the level of service provided was disappointingly poor.Firstly, the fees charged were exorbitant, far beyond what could be justified by the quality of dance instruction. It felt like a blatant money grab, with little regard for the financial strain it put on families. They do not disclose the extra (rehearsal, Video, photos) fees upfront And right before the stage performance, they asked for mandatory $100 for the 2 extra practice classes.You have to pay $84...read full review

The owner Soo is very rude. She hangs up the phone in your face and then lies about what she charges. She’s very rude and disrespectful to all parents that are not of her culture (Asian). She took my phone out of my hand and hung up my phone call with the other parent whom I was speaking with. She thinks that this is professional and appropriate. Many parents just left her studios (San Ramon and Blackhawk locations) because of this.Also. She fired our dance teacher whom we love without notice and refuses to refund us.
