I have been coming to San Ramon Optometric Group since 1988. This practice is well run, professional and provides excellent care regarding overall eye health. I get my glasses there as well, so it is very convenient.
After having happily been seen by Dr. Thames for many years, I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and warmth of Dr. Joelle Chan. She was very thorough and helpful! I do have one bit of criticism of most of the people who have done the "pre-tests" over the years. Their instructions at each of the machines are said very quickly and I find them difficult to follow. I know they are used to saying these things many times each day, but I don't think they realize that many people in their late 70's don't process information as quickly as we used to. Sometimes they can sound curt or impatient.
I e always been well cared for at San Ramon Optometry. Dr Thames is detailed and knowledgeable. Dr. Chan has stepped wonderfully into his big boots. Staff friendly. Vicky kid the best with figuring out my complex lenses and specific need for frames that may or may not work.
