I came to Dr. Wang for help treating pain in my neck and left shoulder. I gained a lot of weight during the pandemic and my overall health has been on a downward spiral. I work from home at my desk 10-12 hours a day. Over the past year my pain worsened to the point it was affecting my mobility, sleep, and overall quality of life. Currently I'm 2 months into my 3 month treatment plan; I see Dr. Wang and Monica twice a week. I have to say the difference is night and day from when I first started! From the first adjustment through today, I've noticed a steady improvement in my overall mobility. Almost immediately, I felt my neck release and muscles lengthen. Over a short amount of time, the tightness in my shoulder also loosened and I gained back my mobility. Dr. Wang solved what hours of massages and multiple visits to my primary doctor could not. I diligently follow Dr. Wang's advice for stretching and other self care methods. Along with the benefits mentioned above, I noticed that my running improved (no more pain, easier movement, balanced stride), my ability to breathe/inhale noticeably improved, I sleep better, my posture improved, my left shoulder has greater mobility in overhead and pulling movements, and I have greater self awareness of my body. I am extremely thankful to be in Dr. Wang's care and his treatments have given me a second life.

I am very grateful for the work and care that I receive at Advanced Chiropractic. My major symptoms started in 2017. I got a bad migraine and the following week I had a bad case of vertigo that lasted 3-4 days. I went to Urgent Care and let them know about the migraine and the vertigo. They gave me anti-nausea medicine and in about a week I was back to normal. The next migraine I had happened about a year or so later. I have always had sinus problems since I was little, and I could manage it by taking an over-the-counter allergy medicine but the intensity and frequency of my allergies, migraines, and vertigo were increasing dramatically. As of last year, I had nausea and at times would vomit. I was doing a sinus rinse, taking Claritin, Tylenol, and Flonase just to function. It was expensive and discouraging because I love to be outdoors and to hike. I started to get bad tension in my clavicle area and in my neck, lower back pain in my hips, and my menstruation cramps were increasingly more painful. At times, my neck muscles would seize or there would be a crunching sound in my neck area when I lifted my left arm above my head and turned my head to the right. It was annoying and painful when it happened. I came into Advanced Chiropractic very skeptical at first because I have gone to chiropractors before, and I hate the sound of my back being cracked. It never gave me relief but made me tense up even more. Dr. Wang was different! His exam was so thorough and there is no cracking sound when my neck is adjusted! He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. When we took my 3-D images we found out that my C1 was fused to my skull on the left side. This was never seen before by any other chiropractor! It made a lot of things in my life growing up make sense: why I have limited rotation on that side of my head and why it was painful to be adjusted on that side of my neck. The other amazing thing is when I decided to come under care, I had a sinus migraine and after my adjustment it went away in 10 minutes! I was stunned! I am so grateful for Dr. Wang and the help I am receiving. I have not had a sinus migraine or vertigo since I was adjusted in February. Thank you for giving me my life back pain free!!
