Jerry and everyone at A Grande Affair were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process from ordering equipment to pick up. After the umbrellas were dropped off, I had concerns about the cleanliness of them, so I emailed Jerry. Jerry was at my home within an hour to swap out the old umbrellas with newly cleaned ones. Our party was a success due to A Grand Affair showing up as promised
First and foremost a major shout out to Katy from A Grande Affair. Katy went above and beyond to not only help me design and create a gorgeous ambiance for my nieces bridal shower, she helped me pick the colors, the chairs, tables and stemware. She did all of our flowers and recommended my caterer, where to get my cake and recommendations on where to order decorations. Katy even came to my house to measure my yard to help design the table layout. We had 40 people and while it was not her job, she designed the flowers and decorated the cakes. I can't say enough about her and A Grande Affair. I'm not sure what I would have done without her. As she was helping set us up she even pushed me to get my hinnie in the shower as guests were going to arrive within 45 minutes and I was a sweaty mess. The equipment and set up was top notch. She is my go to from now on. Thank you Katy and A Grande Affair, you helped me provide my niece with a very special moment in her life. You're a rock star!
This past Thanksgiving we hosted our family of 24. We went to our favorite party rental, A Grande Affair, for linens, dishes, silverware, wine and water glasses, coffee cups, the works. Kyle was great to work with, especially since my wife changed the order (colors, numbers, etc) several times leading right up until Thanksgiving Thursday. A most impressive part of the order was at the last minute a change of glassware, which meant the owner of the company came to San Ramon to personally deliver the glasses from their main warehouse in Tracy. Who does that? Most recently we had a landmark birthday party for my daughter at a restaurant in Danville. My sister, who is an event planner, wanted everything exactly as she specified in terms of table cloths and napkin colors. At the last minute she asked Katie if she knew of a good florist in the area. Katie didn't miss a beat letting her know she could handle anything my sister wanted for table centerpieces. What a relief and pleasure handing off that part of the arrangements all in one place. Katie personally created AND DELIVERED the 3 flower centerpieces to the restaurant on Saturday, sending my sister photos to be sure before what she had created was exactly as the vision my overly detail conscious sister event coordinator wanted. Let me just say this, I was in a customer service business before retirement and often consider various interactions I have in a myriad of situations with companies. There is customer service the name and customer service the act of going the extra mile. Let me just say this, A Grande Affair is actually in walking distance from my home, but I would travel any distance to use their very customer friendly service and the highest quality rentals. They truly make giving a party for medium to large size events a pleasure. If you are having an event of any size, whatever it is you need, I highly recommend A Grande Affair to take care of business while you won't have to stress over the pleasure of the party!
