Dr. Peter Zahedi And his crew took such good care of me. They were comforting, informative they were punctual and friendly. The involved specialty cosmetic dentistry was absolutely top notch. Rather money hungry by pushing for cosmetic procedures after I spent $2900 already on an artificial tooth and a bridge. All dentists push cosmetic stuff because they're businessmen as well as medical professionals who want more than what insurance companies (most of which are also for-profit) are willing to pay. Capitalism and health care don't mix very well.

Dr Zahedi is an excellent dentist who was even able to fit me in on short notice when I had a toothache. His knowledge, staff, and professional expertise were fantastic, and I am very pleased with his work thus far. I highly recommend San Rafael Dentistry.

The absolute worst EVER. A rude bully who gave me absolutely what I specified I did NOT want, then yelled at me repeatedly for his incometence. There's more - a lot more...avoid this place like the plague - which you might contract there.

I needed a cleaning and they were on my insurance. TLDR: I didn't get them cleaned, and won't return. You have to have an in person eval first, and then return for a second appointment. The front desk and phone service is lackadaisical in the extreme. I did not get a courtesy contact reminding me about the appointment despite being told that is their typical practice. They have a longer than usual form to fill out, that uses minuscule type, in an under lit waiting area. When I asked how long the appointment would be, I was told an hour, which I probably relayed to the person picking me up. Although I was the only one waiting,the receptionist apparently couldn't remember what type of appt I had because the consult took 5 - 10 minutes. It consisted of a quick look at my non-remarkable teeth, then a vigorous attempt to upsell me on cosmetic, non-covered procedures. The receptionist then told I could get an appt in 8 weeks, after I had waited 5-6 weeks for the initial appt. No thank you. Overall I felt that my needs as a patient were not important to them in the least. So I moved on.

I went to Dr. Zahedi at San Rafael Dentistry with neglected teeth and a tooth in such bad shape other dentists would just refer me to another dentist. I choose Peter Zahedi because he accepted Kaiser, medical and did not shy away from helping me. He did a very difficult extraction of my tooth. He gave me all the options available. I choose implants. He is a master class in how to do it right. Replacing the mess that was, with solid chewing teeth that fit perfectly . Since then I have a bridge fixing another problem and my teeth are clean and healthy, plus comfortable and chewing easier. Dr. Zahedi is skilled and knowledgeable. He uses the best and most extensive amount of equipment to perform the nicest dental work I have experienced.
