Mary has the "gift." She's alturistic and truly an artist who's intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially connected to her life's work. Training dogs. You could call her a "dog whisperer. Mary worked with "Duke," my 2 year old male Yorkshire Terrier, for a month. I had great trepidation Duke was going to get himself into physical harm. Plus his constant "bark, bark, bark," was getting annoying. Mary has a system to devleop a dog's ability to focus and concentrate. A big part of which was training me. Before Mary worked with Duke, whenever I opened the front door he treated it like a jail break, and soon it was like he was shot out of canon, running all over the neighborhood with me in hot pursuit. That was terrifying! We worked specifially on getting Duke to "Stay" when the front door opened. Now when he hears a knock on the door Duke looks up and focuses on me and doesn't charge the door. What a change and a relief! Duke is now calmer. But the thing I most appreciate is I see Duke on a signficantly different level than before Mary started working with us. Mary showed me the different types of barks and behavior Duke was using to try and communicate to me. Duke's my fourth dog in 40 years. I thought I knew dogs. In reality I was an imbecile. Very grateful for Mary's professional skills, patience and her unique telepathy with Duke. Thanks Mary! Bill Fox Novato
Mary is an exceptional dog trainer and coach for dog owners! Her one on one training program has been a game changer for my two dogs and has given me the skills to continue her training techniques on my own. Mary is amazing, kind and patient and I wholeheartedly recommend her service to anyone who needs help understanding how dogs operate and how owners can change behavior for a more peaceful home!
Mary is amazing. Beyond just a warm and calm trainer, she is a professional. She is good with humans and dogs!!Following up in Marin sometimes is painful with vendors, Mary works as efficiently as a good corporate business but brings the warmest touch. My energizer bunny - Weimerainer six month old puppy is calm and responds well to her. I watch her magically sit and pay attention. Next up is training me!!! Thank you Mary for being YOU.
