This review is long overdue. I’ve been seeing Dr. Derik and Dr. Alex at MJC for the past couple of years, and they have genuinely changed my life.
As someone with EDS, finding knowledgeable providers is incredibly difficult, and they are one of the only true EDS specialists in the area. More importantly, Dr. Derik and team are the most compassionate, informed, and validating doctors I’ve ever worked with.

Dr. Derik Anderson at the Muscle and Joint Clinic in San Rafael is the best chiropractor in Marin that I am aware of, and I have been to quite a few. He works with sophisticated equipment and techniques that are very efficient for rehabbing muscle and joints. He is an outstanding practitioner! Outstanding!

I’ve been visiting Muscle & Joint Clinic for 4 years now, and it has been absolutely life changing. Dr. Anderson is compassionate, attentive and detailed with each and every need! As someone who has hEDS and has struggled with chronic pain my entire life, I am able to live an active and fulfilling life (running my own business, traveling, exercising, etc). He has helped me manage flares over the years and I walk out of his clinic feeling better and improved each visit. I couldn’t recommend the Muscle and Joint Clinic enough!
