They were not able to find my dry cleaning, or the pants I had hemmed. The pants were hemmed well but returned to me very wrinkled. The cost to hem a pair of pants with a cuff is 40$ per pair. I will not be returning.

The woman who runs the shop is very kind, but unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place. The turnaround time was extremely long, they had some of my jeans for months, and every time I followed up, there was a new delay. They often did alterations I didn’t ask for, like patching instead of replacing a zipper, and even after asking for the patch to be removed, it never was.
To make matters worse, I was charged for services I didn’t request and had to ask them to undo it and was still charged for that. In the end, the quality of the work didn’t reflect the time or the price. I really wanted to support this business, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I’d suggest finding another tailor.

Wasn’t ready even though it was just hemming a dress and they had 2 weeks. I was called right at pickup that it wasn’t ready and I said I needed it by 1p. I arrived at 1:30p and it was still being worked on. We ended up being late to our event. I’d never use this shop again.

Lily has tailored a number of pieces for me now - a broken zipper on a sports bra, removing elastic around a sweater collar, hemming pants, fixing holes in well-worn shirts, etc.
she and her team are so kind and I’m happy with the quality work done and the fair prices. It’s also nice to have her business in this part of the neighborhood - conveniently located and good hours

Was quoted $25 (for hemming pants) and returned to pick up my clothes and the bill was $80. Would not recommend if you are looking for a reliable/affordable tailor

What's not to like? Great service, great work, great people, and great prices...I've been using Lily's service since 2010, and still drive from Sausalito to get my shirts and suits cleaned at their shop in San Rafael...

Items not ready when they said they would be (the relaxed date they set, not me), so wasted my time. Also, kind of pricey.
