“I live out in SF but the trip out to this side of the Bay to get my nails done is 10000% worth it. Try to always call ahead of time and an appointment because they tend to get busy with walk ups but they'll do their best to accommodate you. The shop is located in the San Pablo Towne Center so there is plenty of parking. The space is always clean and they offer complimentary snacks/drinks. Service prices are super reasonable which also adds the list of reasons I will always come back to Golden Nails and Spa. All the ladies here are super sweet and accommodating but I want to give a special shout out to Julie. I showed her a picture of an ombre french set with chrome on top and she made it come to life. It took quite some time to do my nails but I was not in a rush and I actually really appreciate how detail-oriented she is. That being said, they turned out exactly how I wanted and it's honestly the best set of acrylic nails I've ever had I will always come back as long as they're here -- thank you!“

Best Brazilian ?? & High Leg ??Waxing Ever

Let’s be honest, there’s always a missed spot when removing body hair, so when I came in with a modern day mullet (you know… “legs are???? business in the front, and house party ?? ? in the back“), I was a little embarrassed and nervous ? about my appointment.

1) Natalie was amazeballz.

She put me at ease and was super professional & approachable

?Pro Tip: if you’re concerned about pain, here’s a couple of good options: take an over the counter pain reliever medicine ? about half an hour before your appointment, THEN at your appointment use the topical numbing ointment ? provided.

2) Your hair can’t scare Natalie.

I say this with confidence! Whatever (and I mean whatever) you landscape looks like, Natalie will rip it back into shape (yes, puns intended). First, if you’re rocking a lion’s ? mane or a bush ?, she starts with petite hair shears. Once tame(-ish) she applies powder to help protect the skin. *This time frame allows for the numbing agent (from the ?Pro Tip) to take effect.

3) Natalie is efficient and thorough.

Then comes out the warm wax. Applied generously, tested to see when it’s ready, then swiftly, with one ☝? quick lift, your undesired hair is removed!

??Pro Tip: ask for directions on WHEN TO BREATHE. Removing the hair at the same time as you exhale ?‍?helps helps alleviate pain.

4) Natalie is done before you know it!

My suggestion: Brazilian & High Legs!! These are the most desirable options for me. You can customize YOUR waxing and get everything you need (including selecting a date and time for your appointment) on the Velvet Wax Room website.
