Don’t often leave reviews but I had a leather shacket shortened here and I’m so pleased with the results! It turned out even better than I imagined. I don’t often get things tailored but the price seemed fair to me.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but these folks deserve one. The suit I bought when I got married 20 years ago still fits great except the pants (as these things go). I want to be able to wear it again, so I took the pants to J's. The gentleman had me try them on and saw they needed to be let out about 3" (eek!). But sadly, he pointed out there was maybe 1.75" of fabric on the seam. He discouraged me a bit, saying he didn't think he could make it happen. His partner then came out and they discussed. They concluded it was questionable at best. I asked them to "do the best you can" and also resolved to diet/de-bloat a bit during the week... read full review

They are so friendly and the best price I found! I had purchased a long, unlined overcoat from old navy ($38), and wanted 8” off the length. I got quotes off yelp ranging $45-60, which I was willing to pay but fortunately took one last chance at J’s tailoring. I walked in with my coat and when they quoted me $40, I was elated. They had it ready in one week and I’m super happy with the alteration and service.
