Body Central Spa offers outstanding personalized bodywork with board-certified therapists. Clients appreciate the spa's focus on individual needs, allowing them to request specific areas of attention and pressure levels. With highly skilled and experienced therapists, this San Mateo spot provides exceptional massages, including prenatal options, in a clean and inviting atmosphere. Customers have praised the reasonable prices, friendly staff, and professional service. While some have noted that the walls do not go up to the ceiling, which can affect privacy, many have had a very relaxing experience and highly recommend the services, including the cupping massage and Swedish massage. Body Central Spa remains a highly recommended destination for those seeking quality and affordability in bodywork.
Experienced and knowledgeable massage therapists who use the Chinese deep tissue style. Rooms were clean and soothing with low lighting and spa music. Not only did my masseuse end with a hot stone treatment (totally unexpected!) but she also added a hot towel rubdown and head massage. I'm considering getting the package of 20 sessions, but they have a new sister branch in San Mateo I'm going to check out.
I got assigned to Mary and she's great! Ready take the effort to massage my knots out! I was half asleep and really enjoyed the massage. Will come back again and plus the price is reasonable too.
Just had the most amazing 1-hr deep tissue massage. I requested hard pressure with a focus on neck/traps/shoulders and the massage therapist nailed it. I have been involved in sports for most of my life (even into adulthood) so I am no stranger to massage. For the quality and price I would definitely recommend this place!
