Bluesky Cleaners, a beloved local business in San Mateo, is known for its exceptional service and friendly staff. Despite the sudden and tragic loss of Jeff, the business continued to provide excellent service under new management. Bluesky Cleaners has been a reliable and trusted choice for dry cleaning, with customers even traveling from as far as Half Moon Bay to use their services. The business will be dearly missed, and the community mourns the passing of a kind-hearted and beloved business owner.
This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. I know it is a little late to give this shop a good review, but it is better late than never. As they are closing soon, I would like to say thank you Mr. Lee for all of your wonderful services, it is so sudden to lost someone as nice as you, my deepest condolences to yr family, RIP Mr. Lee, God bless!
I've used Blue Sky Cleaners for years. They do a great job. No smelly chemicals. Great results. Always ready on time. Jeff is very friendly and helpful, as are the other staff. I moved to Half Moon Bay a few years ago but couldn't find anyone half as good, so I still come to Blue Sky for dry cleaning
