Our gas furnace in Lawrence was short-cycling on high-limit error due to a dusty blower fan wheel restricting airflow across the heat exchanger. The technician removed and cleaned the blower wheel, replaced the air filter, and verified proper temperature rise. The furnace runs full, uninterrupted heating cycles now.
A harsh rattling sound vibrated through our floorboards every single time the main air handler blower ramped up to maximum speed.
