Chocolate Monkey

The Chocolate Monkey just finished two back to back graduation events for me and they were amazing! First, for Calvin Christian High School's graduation reception of over 500 people, the Chocolate Monkey fountain was the highlight of the event. Robin's communication as I planned the events was very good - I never felt out of touch and she responded quickly to all my inquiries. She really listened to me in determining what would be a good mix of food to offer; and she really was thoughtful about the needs and details of the whole event - not just those things that pertained to the chocolate fountain. At the big reception Robin and Mark came in and worked independently to set up - they needed no supervision or direction and the presentation and amount of dippings they brought were perfect. They both managed the fountain station all night keeping the area CLEAN, well supplied and kept the crowd moving along so there was never really a wait for anyone to get to the fountain. It was hands-down the highlight of the evening. When it was time for them to leave - they pre-dipped plenty of food so that people could still enjoy dipped goodies while the fountain was being removed. They stayed late and cleaned everything - again all without the need for supervision, and they were amazing to work with. Very open to suggestions, very helpful with suggestions and tips that made for a wonderful reception. Second - the very next day Chocolate Monkey did a small scale family party of about 50 people. Even though they stayed up late the night before to accommodate the big reception, they were right on time the next morning ready to go. Again - they came in with out needing any supervision or direction, set up, and had the fountain running within minutes. Robin and Mark both stayed and constantly were cleaning the area, dipping fruit and other dippings, making sure all the supplies were well stocked and were very professional at all times. On top of all that, Robin and Mark (the owners) were just really great people to work with. They are friendly, supportive and very caring people. In the short period working with them, I feel confident that I can count them as friends. They feel like family. I will use them again in a heart-beat for any event that a chocolate fountain would enhance.

I engaged Robin and Mark to provide a chocolate fountain for an early, surprise Mother's Day party. We had about 40 people and 13 of them were moms. Communication before the event was great, they arrived on time, got set up without a hitch, the fountain was spectacular, and the event was a huge success. In the rental space we were in dishes were limited, so they had to periodically wash plates to reuse. Robin kept slicing fresh bananas, too. Mark and Robin were both approachable and professional at all times. The chocolate was delicious and definitely ask for the cream puffs. It was literally unforgettable, and that's exactly what I was going for, so a big thank you to Robin and Mark for a job well done. I'll absolutely jump at any chance to hire Chocolate Monkey again.

Having "The Chocolate Monkey" at my fiancee's surprise 50th birthday party was the best decision ever! Especially since he LOVES chocolate! They were highly recommended to me by a friend who had hired them for their party....and I can see why. From our first meeting onward - their efficiency and attention to detail was amazing. The set up was beautiful and the goodies that were suggested (especially those strawberries) were incredibly yummy! Thank you, Robin and Mark, for making his day even more special.
