I have been going to this specific methadone clinic for about 5 years now. I just want to give a huge kudos to Marlin, my counselor there at Capalina for being absolutely amazing! I feel he is one of the best counselors there and he is the main reason why I haven’t switched to a clinic closer to me. I live 45 mins away from there so that says a lot! So, thank you again Marlin! You are the very best and hope we can still chit chat even after I’m done tapering! :) Another shout out I’d like to make is to the staff there. They’re incredibly kind and go above and beyond for us! I highly recommend this clinic!
This is the best clinic I have seen and been to. Today my insurance was going to cause me to have to wait for authorization- this team FOUGHT for me.
I was a disaster- I didn’t know if I could hold on another day- Rosemary helped and did everything she could and I was able to admit today. Holly helped me fill out the paperwork because I was having problems. I felt completely supported the entire admittance process. The nurse was amazing, the dosing nurses were so kind. The way they do the beginning doses makes so much sense and this methadone does not taste like Robatussin like other places - so it’s easy on sensitive stomachs like mine. Just think it's important that the hours are updated. It is no longer closed Sundays. The hours on Sundays are 7am-9:30am. It's not updated on their website either and I scrambled to find a metal lockbox(the rules call for lock boxes to be specifically metal now) only to be looked at like I was crazy when I came in on Saturday with it. I had only been out of the program for a few months and the mission treatment centers are still closed Sundays and since the hours are wrong everywhere other than posted in the dosing room I think it's important that they are updated everywhere online.
