“I've been going to Hunter Salon and seeing Leah Grantham for nearly two years now. The salon itself is beautifully decorated with neat white walls and shiplap feature wall with accents of black, gold and green throughout. The best part are the thriving plants which make the space feel homey and comfortable. Which is important since you're typically sitting there for hours at time. Leah is fantastic!! I chose her specifically to help manage blonde balayage and try a new s*** look. My hair has never looked better. I took a risk getting fairly prominent bangs and Leah delivered big time! When I first got the bangs, she cut them so I could style them in different ways if I hated it. I ended up loving them so now she helps me maintain with regular bang trims. She provides a fun environment where I'm able to talk, work or read - whatever I need! Additionally, she's worked with me to plan around two weddings in the last year. Even going so far as adjusting my color and face framing so it would perfect for the updo I had in mind as a maid of honor! I can't speak more highly of Leah and Hunter Salon!“

“The Studio is definitely a gem in SLO! It's centrally located on an adorable, sunny corner and a great spot for people watching while you're getting your hair and nails done. The Studio has a great vibe. I love that it's small and it's a more personal, relaxing experience rather than the chaos of a huge salon. The decor is beautiful and there's always something new to look at with the changing seasons/holidays. Mia and Lynee are both hilarious and so easy to talk to, overall they bring a great energy to the studio. Lynee does my hair and she always nails it! She is the blonde master. She gives the best highlights that are the perfect shade of blonde every time. I have a ton of hair and I'm picky about my haircuts, but she always knows what I need without me telling her. Mia is so talented at anything nails, and she also rocks at hair! She has done a few updo's for me for weddings and other events and it's always gorgeous. Mia's nail corner is one of the cutest ever I've seen and she gives a fabulous manicure/pedicure. I am conscious of toxic beauty products that I use, so I'm thrilled that she is now carrying new lines that are considered less toxic! I would highly recommend The Studio for any hair/nail needs!“
