I had a colonoscopy. The entire staff from the front end registration staff, to the doctors and nursing staff, and on through to the recovery and checkout process, to being walked out to my driver's car, made what could have been an embarrassing and awkward procedure a very pleasant experience. It was honestly a great experience at the Endoscopy Center of the Central Coast! What made it great was the ease of finding the place; the excellent customer service from all staff including the nurses, the anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Brown (but Ashley at the front desk was supreme!); the efficiency and quickness of the procedure; and the way I felt so taken care of and cared about the whole time I was there. Thank you to this fantastic staff!
A colonoscopy is not anything that anyone looks forward to, but my experience at the Endoscopy Center in San Luis Obispo could not have been better. All of the nurses were attentive, caring and gentle. The anesthetic Propofol put me to sleep instantly and I felt very good when I awoke. And it was very nice to talk to Dr. Wetzel before and after the procedure. That had not always been my experience in past procedures.
