If you read the reviews here you'll notice a few consistent themes: first, he goes way above and beyond the typical role of the realtor, helping you get acquainted with the city and answering thousands of questions patiently. He even offered to lend me his tools as I was contemplating my gardening project. Next, he's very knowledgeable about the area, but more importantly about transactions and the market. Finally, he's a courteous guy and has the highest ethical standards. I felt like I was in good hands with Graham from beginning to end--you won't find a nicer, more professional person. Graham is fantastic and helped me navigate the sometimes overwhelming process of buying my first house.He was extremely patient and answered all my questions. From the first house showing where we talked for an extra half hour outside to the times when I'd email him a list of a dozen questions and he'd call me and answer each one thoroughly. Graham is the realtor you want! We've moved a handful of times now, and Graham was by far the best realtor we've ever had. He worked tirelessly to get us the best price, guiding us through the counter offer process. He was super knowledgeable and realistic. He grew up in SLO, lives here with his family. He was extremely responsive to our texts and emails. I can not recommend him enough. Made our transition to a new home seamless. I even found him breaking down a bunch of boxes outside the garage for recycling for us before we got the keys because the previous owners had left a ton of stuff. (He also took that stuff to the dump for us so we had a clean state when we eventually moved in ) The previous owners also left us some chickens, and we weren't able to get down to SLO the same day they moved out. Graham arranged for a friend (who lived down the street) to help care for the chickens until we moved in! Helps to use a realtor who is knows the area inside and out!

I've known Graham for years and when I needed a realtor there was no one else I considered. Negotiations with the seller were straightforward, with Graham always letting me know what was likely to be successful while also respecting my requests. Graham's connections in the area helped me secure prompt home inspection, termite treatment and roofing repairs. He had answers for every question and provided me with everything I needed to settle in, from scheduling trash pick up to propane service and even beginning the process of hooking up to city water. I can't say enough good things about what a wonderful person Graham is and I love my new country home.

I was referred to Graham by a family friend, and it turned out to be a wonderful recommendation. Over the course of 12 months, Graham patiently guided me through the long-distance purchase of my house in SLO (closed January 2022). The house is to be a rental in the short term, and a retirement home in the long term. Graham started with a thorough discussion of the overall market in SLO, answering all of my questions about neighborhoods, potential impacts/opportunities with new construction, impact of the local master plan, development plans at Cal Poly, dredging plans for Laguna Lake, bike paths, what condo developments have single-story units---everything. We settled on a plan, then had to navigate the crazy COVID marketplace. Graham adeptly guided me through bidding wars, multiple counter-offer situations, did FaceTime walk-throughs, worked out estimates of renovation costs, supplied rental values, etc Graham's background in the trades and with rental real estate were especially useful. At one point we also had a potential dual-agency situation, which Graham handled exceptionally professionally and ethically. Graham's expert knowledge of the contract process ultimately helped me land my house--I was not the highest bidder originally, but got the house as a back-up buyer--and there were a few external complications with the closing (not Graham's fault) that Graham was able to navigate successfully for me. In short, I can recommend Graham without reservation.

Well maybe a dozen home tours, some false starts, and 4 years later we finally made the plunge and got the investment property of our dreams.
