Service was timely and the staff were nice — Love my new haircut!! I got medium layers and the results are soo cute (both styled and not styled). Will come again for my next haircut <3

I booked online the night prior and chose the option for any stylist and had stylist zhicheng Tang.

Second time visited this place for my Son. He likes this place as he gets the proper attention from his hairstylist to get a nice hair cut.

I had such an amazing experience at Lunar Hair Salon! My haircut turned out absolutely perfect. Ben not only did exactly what I asked for, but also offered even better suggestions that made the cut look incredible. I felt listened to, cared for, and walked out feeling so confident. The whole experience was wonderful—I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!

This is my haircut from there. I was so sad I took a risk with a new “stylist” and now I have to spend more money there to get my hair permed curly so it won’t look so bad. Just so disappointed. I told him to not make the layers short and he did anyway.

I had a great experience with stylist Kaka today! He’s incredibly patient and professional, the best stylist I’ve had in the Bay Area so far. I highly recommend!

I don’t remember my stylist name but god was my cut bad. I got a man’s haircut and I basically asked for a mullet and show a picture but said ignored the bangs part. The dude still cut my hair like the photo’s bangs but I told him repeatedly not to. Worst of all I was being filmed the whole time without my consent? I felt embarrassed the whole time too cause even though we had the whole talk of me not wearing a hat no more was a lie. My hat still on bruh. Even the rest of the hair was lefy longer than the picture shown.

I came into this salon almost last minute and got a haircut by Matthew Cai. I had an awful perm and Matthew did an exceptional and thorough job in fixing it. I wish I was able to keep way more length on the bangs and sides of my head but the perm really hindered that.

The Salon is super clean and modern and they even wash your hair prior to the cut. The level of service they provide is reminiscent to the hair salons in Korea. All and all, I would highly recommend this place and Matthew. I hope I didn't come across as too ungrateful to Matthew as I was still mourning the loss of my hair! All of the stylist here look like they do amazing cuts for both men and women.

And lastly, the prices here are way more than reasonable. I have gotten my hair cut at other barbers that charge 50 to 100 % more and they don't even take their time or provide the level of service and detail as place. Lastly the ambiance of this place is as close to the hip Korea/Asian salons as you can get!

Nice salon I like my new look, thanks to the stylist, he’s very professional and patient, I would recommend it.

I visited the Bay Area during thanksgiving last year , and a friend recommended I try Lunar for my hair. They booked me an appointment with Andy for the Balayage, and honestly, the whole experience was flawless!

My hair gets bleached a lot, so Andy and Chao were super careful with the touch-up process. They made sure my hair didn’t feel damaged at all, and I’m obsessed with the Milbon treatment they suggested—it left my hair insanely smooth and shiny!

Now, three months later, I’m still in love with how my hair looks and feels. The color has held up beautifully, and my hair feels healthier than ever. Huge thanks to Andy and the team—they’re so talented and thoughtful. If you’re in the Bay Area, you have to check out Lunar and book with Andy. You won’t regret it!
