Valery Doyle is everything you want in a therapist. She actively listens, researches resources that can actually help, and gets straight to the point. She’s very encouraging and heartfelt. As an African-American female seeking therapy there are many challenges in finding relatable and effective providers. Valery Doyle exceeds all expectations and offers real life solutions and support to real life problems. She is open-minded, compassionate, and very relatable. Her many years of experience and expertise shines through her bubbly laugh and caring demeanor. I am very grateful to have found therapy that Is actually making a positive impact on my life.
I had a great experience in virtual sessions with Joelle Stallsmith over the last 14 months or so. She listened to the things I wanted to work on, helped me focus my efforts and make quick progress. My work life has improved, my marriage has improved, I finally know how to set healthy boundaries and I have more confidence that I have ever had in my life! She was careful to explain how she works through trauma with a client so I'd know what to expect. She gave me assignments or ideas of things to work on that were practical, not overwhelming and pointed out the progress, which encouraged me to continue the journey. I went from weekly sessions to every other week, and now I'm able to call her if I need "booster" sessions. While I'm so happy with my where I am, I'll miss having her weekly encouragement. I truly love the counseling, I’ve been coming to matters of the heart up to five years or more. I experience a lot of family trauma and if I didn’t have my support system and counseling with Ms. Valerie, I honestly do not know where I would be… definitely give this a chance, my life have changed for the best.
