Custom Stone was recommended by my cabinet sales folks and also had a relationship with my contractor. I found Dimitar to be easy to communicate with, helpful in picking out a slab and the quality of the work was great. I did a compost bin that sits flush with the countertops which had some nuanced planing and it turned out perfectly.

Dimitar and his crew are awesome. We were referred over to Custom Stone from our designer and boy was she right. These guys were easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and (best of all) terrific in their craftsmanship. Can't overstate how happy I am with the results!

I chose custom stone due to the reviews here. They do excellent work and our counters are beautiful. We also got some stone tops on pony walls in a shower. I'm deducting one star because I thought communication could be better. I think people usually do kitchen counters, so the templating checklist they provide would be sufficient. My job was a bit different due to the pony walls. Dimitar was not clear on what the templating appointment constituted, only that we needed to schedule it at least 3 weeks in advance (when we reached out with a 21 day heads-up he got us in 4 weeks later). I asked Dimitar what needed to be ready for the templating. I said "I'm making some plans for the renovation and see we need a 3 weeks headsup for templating. What stage should we be at prior to templating? We have the dimensions for the vanities and counters, the sinks and faucets have been purchased, but none of these are yet installed. The pony walls that you will put the stone on have not yet been built yet either. Should we schedule templating or wait?" Dimitar responded: "Please READ our Pre-Template checklist. It's IMPORTANT for you read it and share a copy with your contractor. Your contractor will know when he will be ready for us to template." No details on the pony walls. When they arrived, there was a lot of back and forth with our contractor on the tiles in the shower, whether they should be installed or not. I write a lot of emails in my work and generally find the use of CAPS to be condescending. Further explanation from the business would have been useful. But their work is good.
