Its very rare to find a decent barbershop and I am happy to say X9 is one of the best out in the Bay. Special shout-out to my barber Alex who has been styling by hair and beard for over a 1 year! Received numerous compliments on my haircut from friends and coworkers.

I’ve been going to Rio at X9 Barbershop for the past few cuts, and he’s been consistent every time. I had been growing my hair out for a while and decided it was time to bring back the old me with a clean comb-over.
I actually found the shop just by browsing their website since I work right across the street, and decided to walk in. Luckily, Rio was available that day. I showed him a reference photo for both my hair and beard, and he nailed it.
Booking through the website has been simple, and the convenience of being so close to work makes it easy to step out, get cleaned up, and get right back to it.
I recently found this gem of a barbershop in San Jose, and now my boys and I are regulars. My barber, Alex, is fantastic - skilled, professional, and always delivers a clean, precise cut.
I usually go for the premium haircut, which includes both the cut and a shampoo, and it’s well worth the $50. Their basic haircut starts at $35, which is very reasonable for the quality you get.
Highly recommend Alex and the team if you’re looking for a reliable spot in San Jose.
