We have used Rudy and his crew a number of times in the past few years, and each time they have done an excellent job (he was recommended to us by a neighbor). I've always felt his price to be a fair one for the work involved. We first used him to remove and trim a couple of trees. Next we used his services and connections with area nurseries to find and plant all our replacement trees. We then used him for a general landscaping job of our front yard where we came up with a design while he and his crew did all the hardscape and planting work (again locating the right shrub for the design). Rudy and his crew are absolutely terrific! This was the second big job we've hired them for in the past year. The first was with our neighbor, when we had them prune and thin out about 15 towering redwood trees. Rudy is very responsive, listens to your concerns and explains things thoroughly. The trees looked great when they were done. This week we called on him again when half of our oak tree collapsed during the night. Rudy had his crew out to us a day later and helped us with an additional challenge: safely removing and relocating an established honey bee colony. Rudy and his team of experts did a phenomenal job on my large ash tree. It had been almost 10 years since it was serviced and it needed a LOT of work. They kept the tree looking beautiful all while making sure that the weight/load on the trunk was significantly reduced. We rely on our tree's shade to keep the house cool, so Rudy made sure to keep the crown in tact. It's great to work with someone who is an arborist and has the experience to know exactly what to do. Very professional and easy to work and communicate with. HIGHLY recommended!!
