HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT GO HERE. the receptionist is rude and unhelpful and makes it clear you will not be valued as a patient. the doctor herself is no better. when you try to explain your issues and history she will cut you off and not take it seriously. i could not recommend another place, ANY other place, more.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Britz today. I was very pleased with every aspect of the experience. She was prompt, pleasant, very thorough and knowledgeable. She patiently answered all of my questions completely. This was my first visit with Dr. Britz and she will be my dermatologist from now on.

She's very rude. No bedside manner whatsoever. I was so surprised of the way she asked questions. I admitted I've sunbathed in the past, and she asked if I was going to be smarter in the future. Do not go to this dermatologist. You have choice! Choose a physician who will talk to you like a human being. Not this terribly grumpy dr.

I went in to see Dr.Britz after reading her bad reviews because I needed to see a dermatologist ASAP. My acne was getting progressively worse and I wasn't willing to wait 2+ months for other dermatologists in the area. (Huge mistake!!!!!) Receptionist was ok but Dr. Britz was another story, I only gave her 1 star because yelp didn't let me give her negative stars. She walked into the room, took a look at my face, asked if I had ever been prescribed medication for acne before, I said yes and immediately told me to find another dermatologist because she couldn't help me. She said I needed Accutane (which I disagree with because my acne is not that bad) and she couldn't prescribe it to me. She didn't bother to ask what type of medication I've been on and for how long, if I was using topical treatments etc. I would've appreciated alternatives to Accutane but she didn't bother and immediately sent me out the door. We spoke for less than 5 minutes and my insurance got billed about $200, which I need to pay out of pocket. Now the most frustrating part of it all is that I haven't received a bill from her office and it's been over a month. I've stopped by her office 3 times now (during her "business hours") and it's been CLOSED. I've called multiple times and they don't pick up. Now, let's see when they'll decide to respond to my voicemails, that's if they even listen to them. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I would give this dermatologist a failing grade from the standpoint of patient relations. I showed up for my appointment, on time, only to be the Marie Britz had an emergency and I would have to reschedule. When I returned home I had a message on my phone indicating that Marie could not make her appointment !! A lot of good that did me when I already made the effort to leave early and be on time in poor driving conditions. I next week I would later call back to find out what the emergency was all about and had to leave message to request they return my phone call in order to setup a follow up appointment. That call was never returned. I have called my physician to request a new dermatologist. I recommend anyone reading this review to save yourself the trouble and stay away from this land mine.

I went to see Dr Britz for a mole that had changed in the back of my neck. The office staff was efficient and took me on time for my appointment. She looked carefully at the mole and told me it was fine. She took the time to teach me the ABCDE detection for cancerous growths and answered the couple of questions I had. She then reminded me to keep sunscreen on all parts of my exposed body- face, neck and arms. I was very happy with her exam and the information she provided. J L

I came to see her for a little rash on my arm after seeing her google reviews, and had a really good experience so I was surprised to see that her yelp reviews were so bad. She diagnosed the issue quickly, explained the cause thoroughly, and asked me multiple times if I had any questions and if there was anything I didn't understand. She gave me a prescription and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I thought she was nice and this was one of the better doctor's office experiences I've had. I also thought the receptionist was fine, not overly friendly but certainly not rude. And I was able to get in to see her the next day, other dermatologists in the area had a 2 week wait. I recommend her!

I called the office at 12 pm, got a call back at 4:30 pm. The receptionist was very unpleasant, and talking to me as if she just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. Found this doctor on google, and google gives her 4.5 stars, but after calling the office and finding out that her next available appointment is tomorrow morning( which is suspicious) I found all these reviews, thank god!!!

i too called because I needed a derm in a pinch and everywhere else was booked out for weeks or months. I haven't seen the doctor yet and I don't think I will after dealing with the receptionist and reading these reviews. The receptionist was so rude and unfriendly. She sounded irritated that I was calling and hung up very rudely, with no professionalism at all. I also tried calling to cancel the appointment, and all I got was an irritated sounding "hello?" and then she hung up the phone. I will continue trying to cancel this appointment.
