My criteria was that the company was to be professional, on time, cleaned up everyday (this was a 5 day job) and I knew enough to ask the right questions, so I was expecting thoughtful answers. Luis and I discussed everything beforehand, and I think we got a very good system, installed correctly for a competitive (not lowest nor the highest) price. We installed a 5 stage heat pump with a SEER rating of 18 as we wanted to eliminate non-renewable fuel and wanted a very quiet unit. We also removed all old duct work and replaced with R8 flex duct. Everything I read online said that the installation job was AT LEAST as important as the equipment I chose, if not more so. I would have given the company a 5 star rating except for one thing. They did not test the thermostat before leaving on Friday afternoon. We either had high heat or had to turn off the system until the installer returned. It was not a huge deal, but to get a rating of 5 stars, you can’t let down on the last 5% of the job. I would give the company 4.5 stars, but that rating is not available. I will highly recommend Luis Torres and his company. Good guy with a good crew.
