I had a wonderful experience at The Salon Professional Academy in San Jose. My stylist, Butterfly, gave me a long bob and truly listened to what I wanted. She styled it beautifully when we finished. When I got home and tried to style it myself, I noticed it felt just a bit heavy at the ends. I went back and she helped make an adjustment, even bringing in an instructor to debulk it perfectly. She also walked me through the best products and tools to keep my style looking great going forward. Highly recommend asking for Butterfly if you want a stylist who truly listens and cares about getting it right.
I started coming here after Cinta Aveda closed down in downtown San Jose. Many staff and students relocated here. Never had a bad cut here. A very polite, friendly and professional atmosphere. Very clean and polished. Highly recommended! Better yet, parking is easily accessible and you can hit up Shake Shack for a tasty burger and Target, all-in-one stop!
I got my hair cut my Mindy and the experience was amazing! She was very accommodating and asked me questions about my hair goals and concerns before we started the cut. The hair wash felt soooo good I almost zoned out hahaha. I got a maintenance cut for my layers and bangs and she executed it exactly how I wanted, if not better! I can't wait to come back!
