Super thankful to Sherry and her lovely pink studio for hooking me up with an overdue haircut, balayage and therapy/venting session . I'm super satisfied with the outcome and left with shampoo / conditioner to pro long the life and color of my new hair . For some added context my hair isn't regular hair lol what I mean by that is I have super thick and coarse hair ( think of horse mane ) . Avoid Hair by Jackeboo, she did a poor job at dyeing my blonde hair to solid brown, such a simple task yet she couldn't give the results, she charged high prices for her assistant to do 85% of the work, I hesitated with doing semi or permanent color and she suggested permanent I said fine as long as it doesn't wash off and I get no red tones, I washed my hair TWICE after the service and within 2 weeks, well my hair washed off and I have ugly highlights peaking through and my brown has a red tone. I asked for a partial refund because 1. I did not get what I asked for 2. I can't ever go blonde again like I planned to in the winter, I was fine with a semi-permanent... read full review

Amalia (Love & Rooted) knows what she's doing. She took everything I said into consideration, acknowledging everything I asked for before my haircut. She also won points for giving me a realistic breakdown of what could be achieved with my hair texture. I wanted a LOT of volume, but she kindly let me know that the pictures I showed her were unrealistic for my straight and fine hair. She ended giving me a partial wolf cut, but cut the ends of my hair oval-shaped so that I wouldn't lose body. Amalia worked efficiently because she is experienced and knew exactly what she was doing!
