My experience here has been an 11/10! Dr. Madaan and her staff do a fantastic job of creating a comfortable and welcoming environment in their office. I had always had a great deal of anxiety at the dentist, but within minutes of my first visit here, my anxiety was put at ease due to their kindness and positive energy. I would highly recommend Dr. Madaan for all your dental needs.

**Extremely Disappointed with Santa Teresa Family Dental – Dr. Gauri Madan**

I had a very poor and disappointing experience at Santa Teresa Family Dental under Dr. Gauri Madan’s care. Initially, after reviewing my X-ray, she recommended a root canal and she told me that she will try to save my tooth. I was in severe pain at the time and trusted her professional judgment.

However, on the day of the root canal procedure, once it had already begun, she drilled and opened it and informed me that my tooth was fractured and could not be saved. By then, the payment for the root canal was already made, and I was under local anesthesia—completely numb, my face was swollen and in pain, and unable to communicate clearly. She then said the tooth needed extraction, and I agreed because I was in extreme discomfort.
I repeatedly said I don't need teeth retainer but she was forcing me to take that and she was forcing me to sell her services in the middle of surgery. I had no clue that bone grafing is not covered by insurance and they didn't mention that and said without bone grafting they don't do teeth extraction and I highly doubt she didnt do anything regarding bone grafing on that day.
The extraction itself was supposed to cost only about $68, but I was ultimately charged around **$1,192**, which included **bone grafting and a tooth extender**—services I repeatedly said I did **not** want the retainer. Despite that, she kept pushing unnecessary procedures and seemed more focused on selling services than providing genuine patient care.

During the surgery, she talked excessively, trying to convince me of extra treatments while I was unable to respond properly. Later, when we called to discuss the insurance claim and billing issues, the staff were rude and dismissive.

Overall, this was one of the **worst dental experiences** I have ever had. The clinic feels more like a **business pushing sales** than a place that genuinely cares for patients. I strongly **do not recommend Santa Teresa Family Dental** for any treatment, especially in emergencies. The entire experience was misleading, unprofessional, and left me paying huge amount for a simple tooth extraction.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Madaan and her team. As someone who struggles with anxiety and PTSD, going to the dentist has always been overwhelming for me but Dr. Madaan truly changed that experience.

She took extra time to make sure I was comfortable, especially when giving me shots, knowing how scared I was. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and understanding, giving me breaks when I had anxiety attacks and treating me with the same care and compassion you would give a child who is afraid of the dentist. I have never felt so supported in a dental office.

Her entire team is just as friendly, kind, and helpful. They made me feel safe from the moment I walked in.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Madaan, especially for families with children or anyone who deals with anxiety. Not all doctors have the patience and empathy that she does. I am beyond grateful for the care I received, and I truly appreciate everything she and her team have done for me.

My family and I have been coming here for over a year, and it’s been great. Dr. Madaan did my crown and my son’s Invisalign. She always avoids unnecessary work. Her dental-care advice has really improved how our whole family brushes and flosses.

We are extremely happy with the care Dr. Madaan provides for our kids. I had been searching for a good dentist for a long time, and the previous dentists we visited never gave us a clear plan about the next steps for my kids’ orthodontic needs. They always seemed to suggest fillings or other procedures instead of addressing the real issue.

Dr. Madaan is completely different. She focuses on treating the actual problem rather than doing unnecessary work just to add to the bill. She is exceptional in her care and has an amazing team. She recommended expanders for my kids—something no other dentist had even mentioned. She explained in detail why they were needed, how they work, and made sure my kids were comfortable before we made any decisions.

Her office is extremely clean, the staff is very professional, and scheduling appointments is always easy and convenient with her team. It’s rare to find a doctor who explains things so clearly and puts patient care above everything else.

I truly appreciate everything Dr. Madaan is doing for my kids. Dr. Madaan, you are doing exceptional work and have built a wonderful team. Thank you for your care and service. I highly recommend her for all your dental needs.

5 stars on my first visit. Dr. Sudeep was amazing. Prices are pretty good.

I went with my wife to Dr Madaan for her dental problem. The initial consultation that was done which was told as limited consultation and was charged $91 where Dr Madaan checked and told that a root canal will be done based on my wife’s previous tooth Xray and her examination on that day. On her 2nd visit that is the day of root canal she was told that Dr Madaan only performs root canal if she does a crown which is not covered by insurance. For doing the root canal she was injected with anesthesia and while performing the procedure Dr Madaan fractured her tooth and then when she was in lot of pain and already injected anesthesia Dr Madaan told that tooth extraction is a better option as the tooth is already fractured but she only does tooth extraction if a bone grafting is done along with it. My question is if crown or bone grafting is not covered by the insurance then how can they be mandated by a Dr and that too within a procedure when a patient is in lot of pain and already anesthesia has been injected. There is a difference between suggesting and mandating. When you say I don’t do that procedure if you don’t take this from me and the patient is already in so much pain what option do you leave them with. Do you expect the patient to say to leave the procedure in between and go find another Dentist. For retainer also you should have given her time and options but you got them signed during the procedure when a patient is under lot of pain and not in a position to think. If you genuinely care about a patient I think you should not mandate any procedure from your side. I hope you change your thought process and treat patients as patients and not for extracting money during the time when they are under lot of pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Sudeep for all of my Dental needs since she took over the 'business' from the previous dentist who retired...10 years? She and her capable staff are always professional, patient and gentle. I have had several procedures along with routine cleaning and have never been in pain. In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Sudeep and staff. She is very focused on patient service and I have always looked forward to my visits to her office.

Dr.Gauri Madaan is a patient and considerate dentist. She is able to efficiently assess the dental issue and explain options to make one comfortable about the treatment plan to proceed.
