My visit was a waste of time. I was recommended to take some laxatives and come back in 3 months. I asked if Im supposed to live off taxing laxatives for rest of my life and the physician responded yes that’s normal. This is bs, more examination should have been done to find the root cause and confirm. Just making assumptions won’t do. No examinations were done to confirm the root cause of my symptoms and laxatives were recommended and high fiber, which I already take.
I like Dr. Wong, but when it comes to appointment, is a mess. At first I had appointment for banding & follow up call in Dec, someone from this office called me (I think her name Betty) to cancel both appointment because the Dr not in the office, also someone was calling me my appointment in Dec actually I have to go different location, not the 1st location. So I have to wait until March for banding & follow up call, I thought yeah what can I do. In March I was doing another procedure from another specialist that required me to take iron pill, but for banding no iron pill, so I have to cancel this 2nd appointment because supposed no iron pill. I wanted to schedule 3rd appointment, I spoke with Betty, she said this last time I can make appointment, because I been cancelling 2x. What ? The 1st appointment, I am not the one who cancel it, but she cancel because of her mess scheduling. 2nd appointment yes I am the one who cancel because not supposed to take iron pill. Eventhough she said I have 1 more chance to make appointment, I don't like her judgement that said I am the one cancel 1st appointment, she only wants to cover her ass !!!! I don't like her attitude. Maybe she told the doctor I am the one who cancel 2x appointment, because she wants covering her ass, she is the one who screwed up on 1st appointment, I supposed already to do banding in Dec.
Cancelled an appointment less than 24 hours in advance for my mother who direly needs help with gastro issues. According to staff, they no longer accept her insurance. No excuse for this unprofessionalism. Now we have to start this referral/appointment process over
