Amazing atmosphere and the yoga teacher was extremely present and attuned to the class at hand. Had to drop it a star because of price. Paying $33 for a drop in feels absolutely gashing. That's partially on me for not looking up the price before heading in for a class, but never in my wildest dreams could I imagine this tag for a single class. I realize cost of living is high in South Bay, but we all have different financial situations and I know mine will keep me from coming back. Great spot though if you can afford it.

Be prepared to reinvent your relationship with your yoga practice. Rebel Rise is probably the only yoga studio I have been to that pays respects to the ancient practice and has a huge emphasis on community, all the while deepening and strengthening one's practice. The community here is like no other; the staff and practitioners are genuinely kind and welcoming and there is little space for ego here. The instructors are highly knowledgeable about the asanas and will offer you new ways to engage in your practice, such as making minor adjustments or putting you into proper alignment that will improve your poses like no other. This studio is so beautiful! Lots of light, gorgeous plants, and a lot of warmth in the space. Jenn is a fantastic studio owner who truly wants to grow a meaningful community through yoga. Her classes are vigorous but open to all yogis. Her teacher training is so thoughtfully created with a focus on social justice. Excellent studio!
