My first pedi and so happy my friend brought me here. So wonderful and relaxing. For a salon there was no chemical smells which was great. I'll definitely be returning. My feet and nails never looked so good.

Had my first appointment with Hannah. Hannah did a great job with my nails! Very personalized service. For the first time in a while I didn't have to go home and reshape or file down some jagged edges. Plus they feel smooth and even! Lots of dip powder colors to choose from! After two weeks my nails still look great and feel strong. Other places I need them redone after 2 weeks because they are breaking. So I am happy to pay a little more here to have my nails last longer and be done well. I feel confident that my nails are in good hands and that will be stronger over time. Plus, Hannah is great to talk with! The salon is cute and clean. Can't wait to go back! I will note that I had some trouble finding the location. It is not in the large shopping center even though navigation kept taking me there. It's in the smaller center across the street. Keep an eye out for the striped overhang.

Here's the background: I have soft stiletto shaped hard gel extensions. When I say hard gel, I don't mean that I have tips glued on with builder gel...I have sculpted nails. When I'm back in NYC, it's no big thing to get them filled-- California is a different story. I scoured the Bay Area looking for someone who could fill my nails, and literally only three salons said they could do "hard gel"-- two actually didn't and tried to sell me on aprés X...and the third is where everything went wrong. Between my broken and chipping manicure, how horribly they damaged my nail bed, and my partner's terrible, uneven, unshaped, and depressing dip extensions...I turned back to google and looked further south (I live in the east bay), and that's when I found Hannah. We called to ask if she could do sculpted nails-- and you guys, not only did she know what those were....she hadn't done a set in forever and still agreed to look at mine. So we made a same day appointment for just me. Upon seeing my partner's nails, she said she couldn't let her leave like that and went out of her way to correct the precious salon'a mistake. Then, She looked at my nails, said she thought she could fix it, and searched for the metal forms-- not only did she literally search and find the right equipment for me, She used supplies from her own personal stash to get the job done. Nothing about my appointment offered "ideal" conditions for a technician, and Hannah not only made it work but she went Above and BEYOND. I am SO particular about my nails. I'm a New York City girl, who is used to top tier nail service-- and I can say with complete confidence that Hannah is one of the best nail technicians I've ever encountered. She is SO skilled, very transparent with her clients (she was honest with me about the terrible state the last tech left one of my nail beds in and told me it could affect how well my nail held), and her prices are completely reasonable-- especially for someone with as much skill as she has. She could charge double and I'd still come back to her. I know this a really long review but here's the TLDR: call Hannah and book an appointment, she's the best in the Bay Area. (Also you should totally give sculpted gel extensions a shot. I want them to be a thing)
