I have been going to Optical Illusions on Santana Row for several years and have been very happy with my care. I’ve been a long time patient of Dr. Yandell who has great bedside manner and explains things very clearly. She goes over my options and focuses on shared decision making. The office has new high tech machines for diagnosis and treatment for dry eyes. I recently saw Dr. Asslani, who was also very knowledgeable and personable.

Its nice to be back and felt awesome to be seen and had our eye exam checked at Optical Illusions!!! The staff is great and very accommodating as always.
The person who helped us is very Knowledgeable and very professional!!! I believe her name is Gina???

I went there for my contact lens exam and the stuff are super helpful during the whole exam. It was my first time using contact lens so there was a lot for me to understand, but both the doctor (Erica) and optician (Richelle) are extremely patient and helpful and make my experience very smooth. This is always the right place to go to for anything about your eyes.

Many thanks 🙏 to the team at Optical Illusions! I was there last Saturday, first time. On a super busy day I finished a very thorough eye exam and picked out some great new glasses. Everyone was professional and welcoming. Dr. Kat helped me get checked in promptly. Dr. Atean examined my vision. He combines clinical excellence with a patient-centered approach, explaining every step in detail and answering questions. Richelle took great care of me and made the whole process smooth and easy. Including what is usually the most overwhelming part: selecting the right frame!

Very disappointed. They never mentioned the $50 no-show fee upfront, not during booking and not in any confirmation or reminder message. After missing one appointment due to an unexpected situation, they charged me without warning and even blocked my access to other providers. This level of poor communication and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Patients deserve clear information before being penalized.
