After my second time seeing Tamara, I'm still so glad she does this unique and important work in complementary health care. Ayurveda advises leech therapy (Jalouka chikitsa) for some conditions that are difficult to adequately address without them. She regaled me with insights from their contemporary use in Russian medical culture, as well. She is professional and precise, but also warm and generous.
