LawnStarter Lawn Care Service

Absolutely terrible company. Avoid. Had a horrendous experience with their lawn care pro that kept marking jobs as complete that were not. Resulting in HOA complaints and city ordinance violations. Their website and app are a sad joke. They do not require their provider to show picture proof or upload a picture of service being completed. I specifically hired lawnstarter for an out of state job for our family house because I assumed as a tech company, they would require pictures after service like what Uber eats and DoorDash does. NOPE. No way to know the job is done. What a joke.

Fees everywhere!!! Don't use this company!!Their promotions/discounts are a lie! They hit you with fees upon fees!Long grass fee is ALWAYS added on no matter whatExtremely expensiveThey kept rescheduling to let the grass grow and add the long grass fee!They don't remove the grass after they cut itI can never call and get a hold of customer serviceScheduling is HORRIBLE, they never say when exactly they will arrive and the 2 day gap is never helpful, gates are locked so we need to know exactly when they will be coming so we can open them.It takes 3 DAYS! for someone to answer a stupid simple question!The worst part is that is RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE all because the CO. wants to take a large cut FOR DOING NOTHING!You are basically paying double with this company...the Gardner AND the same amount for using the stupid App and customer service.They literally just charged me $266 on 5/14/23 for lawn mowing...JUST lawnmowing. The edging and mowing of both lawns are well-manicured; more importantly, the clean up is almost exactly how I would have done it.Highly recommended for busy people who still love to get in the garden. I love LawnStarter. I appreciate the flexibility, option to choose how often I need service, and the affordability/reasonable price. LawnStarter also allows me to work with the best professionals. I have Carlos and he is awesome--professional, punctual, attentive to details, and understanding and accommodating. LawnStarter is also super responsive and their app is so easy to use for rescheduling or requesting more/less service.Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance

I used the App to set up it was a little confusing to set up at first as I got 2 calls about set up and first guy to come cut the lawn. After that tho it's awesome. Carlos is a phemonimal person that did excellent job. He's very text n chats via the app. I know when he is coming and leaves. The rates are great compared to every other person, I had quoting for front and back yard.Service: Yard work

Very bad APP. They withdraw money from my credit card every month without my consent. Nobody came to my yard to do the work of mowing. When I called the customer service, they refused to refund me with the monthly fee for mowing. You must be very careful. This is a fraudulent company. Others reviews are fake messages. There have very unprofessional customer service staff who doesn’t know how to solve customers' problems. LawnStarter is a very immature and very poorly written software.

Tried to get a crew to service my lawn many many times 8+ and they have been cancelled every time. I don’t know about the integrity of this company but you don’t promise a service and then don’t do it. This infringes on your company’s reputation and I don’t like the way they do business. This is not a hard thing come cut the grass and that’s it.

Easy to pay and I come home and my yard is done! Very convenient for my busy lifestyle.

They do an awesome job and they're super efficient. I've never had a complaint about them and Terry takes the time to ask me if there is anything we specifically request when he sees me. Affordable and awesome service!

Raymone has done my yard twice. It looks awesome. I get a text prior to arrival and when is completed.I am very happy with the work Raymone is doing.I like the service from LawnStarter. Easy to use. App. Billing. Etc.Thank you.
