“When we purchased this house almost 5 years ago i loved the kitchen!! It was so large compred to our last home. The bathrooms,on the other hand, were not so much to love. The showers were only 2-3 feet of space, dark and uncomfortable to shower in. Hardly any vanity space and the places the toilets were, were well, not the most spacious. We knew eventually we would have to renovate the bathrooms. Well, when we met Yaniv, we hired Shefer Builders to redo our roof. I could tell instantly he was an extremely detailed person. This filters down to the staff. The entire staff!! Talking with Yaniv during the roof project, we decided to have the company redo our bathrooms. This included a 3D designer, and a mobile showroom that came to the house so I could choose all the fun stuff. Everyone is so nice and comfortable to talk to about design and pricing. In addition, the crew and foremans were very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the enire projects. As for the kitchen: we had a dishwasher go bad and it leaked water all over including out the back of the house!! Well....perfect time to have Shefer Builder renovate the kitchen!! What a continued blessing to have the crews come back again and help in such a fine way. I have always loved cooking and baking but even more so now with my beautifully desinged, perfectly crafted and functional kitchen!!They give so much attention to the little things I did not even notice! Exceptional quality from everyone!! The crews were hard working, fun and really made the process a joy to experience. We will definately be calling to use them for any further things we need beautified at our home!!“

“This is my third project with pioneer concrete. I love their masonry work and the company. In 2007 they did a brick front porch, walkway and back porch which still look fabulous today. When I needed some brick steps for a new patio door I called them right away. Older homes always have some challenges and this one needed a workaround for an electrical conduit sticking out right under the doorway. Pioneer poured the concrete with an access cavity and then laid bricks over a small utility cover plate. It looks awesome! Bruno, Jesus and Marco were great to work with. Bruno came right over as scheduled to estimate the job, sent me the quote the same day and was able to schedule me the same week as they had a crew available after completing a large job early. I would have been willing to wait because I appreciate the quality of their work but it was a nice surprise to have the job go from query to completion in a week. Their basic concrete work is great too. When my 90 year old mother broke her hip I needed her 50+ years old cracked aggregate driveway, walkway and back patio replaced quickly as she was getting out of nursing home in 3 weeks! Mario the owner moved the schedule around and got it done in time. She was/is so happy with both the look and the safety/functionality. Mario even stopped by to visit her when she was back in her home. I highly recommend Pioneer for any concrete or masonry work you need.“

“They are exceptional.You wouldn't experience such responsible workers, customer-service, quality in this bay area.I think this company pursues mid-range budget person.If you hire a single contractor, you would trade your cheap money with the quality and responsibility. You will be headache all the time.High-end company is not my budget. (100K was their starting price for very simple landscape that I would not be satisfied).Stones Landscaping is not top crazy expensive company, but placed in the mid-range.The thing that I liked was that their workers are all employee. They don't sub-contract. That's why every workers are very responsible and not being lazy.They are very responsible, diligent, and provide high quality work. “We needed to update our yard and remove our dying lawn. I called and spoke with Tim at the end of June, along with 2 other companies for estimates. Tim was very pleasant and friendly and told me up front that they wouldn't be available until the following month, which I appreciated. He came by and looked at my yard to discuss what I wanted. He was just as pleasant in person and very understanding, and offered some helpful suggestions. Together we chose the pavers and rocks I wanted. I ended up going to the suppliers with my husband and chose something different. TIm was very flexible. When work got started his people were prompt and friendly. We then went to the nursery together and picked out the plants I liked. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he is. The work was completed on time and we have received numerous compliments on our yard. While not the most expensive estimate, I would have chosen this company either way because of how friendly and understanding Tim was. We love our beautiful, low maintenance yard. When you meet him do not lump him together with other young people who have trouble getting things done. I did need to contact him a couple of times before we set up the job, but it was well worth the wait. He was reliable and I am happy with the results.
