We were experiencing a heat wave and our AC unit went out when it was the hottest. All the calls we made to other companies were booked and we had to wait days. When Ed received our call he immediately reached out and promptly came to the house to inspect the AC unit. He was able to analyze and fix the problem in less than an hour. The cost was quite reasonable, especially since he came to our rescue so quickly. Ed was friendly and gave great advice on how to prolong the AC unit's lifespan.
Edison is a HERO! He has come to help me with my elderly parents Heating issue on a cold Sunday night in December last year. Can't say enough good things about Edco Construction. The owner Edison met with us. He was the last contractor we met so we had a ton proposals for replacing our entire HVAC system including oversizing, heat pumps, split systems, multiple zones, etc. He was straight to the point and talked me out of all of these as bad ideas for our particular house and designed the system we needed. I was already sold on more expensive solutions, but rather than cash out he took time to talk me down to a simpler solution. I actually called back the other contractors repeating Edison's justification for why their designed system wasn't appropriate for my house and each one agreed we shouldn't go with their own proposals. The quality of the work was superb. Edison was on site every day directing the crew. They took their time and did the job right the first time - everything was to code. They cleaned up after themselves and came in on a Saturday to knock out a change order (my fault) so we'd have the system running sooner. Calling Edco saved me on initial cost and future maintenance / utility costs. Thank you Edison!
