This is a shout out for Janne and Amy! My go-to hair stylist relocated, a bit too far from my area. So I had to search through all of Yelp to find another salon that can handle my hair. I had the pleasure of booking a hair appointment with Janne back in Dec and she did me a huge favor by chopping off a lot of my highlighted hair I did three years ago. I have such thick, long hair so the inches off was needed and all of my friends loved it! She really knew my hair and I would happily go back to her. Major props to Amy for dealing with all the appointment changes due to many conflicts in my schedule. I brought in my sister today since we'll be going to vacation next week and like me, she has thick and long hair. The previous stylists I took her to didn't really layered her hair the way I wanted because it was still too heavy for my liking and charged me for $$$. I was highly satisfied with how it look and how it felt at the end of the appointment.
This was my first time booking with Nonnie at Duet Salon! I will say that it was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hair experiences I've ever had! She was super friendly and welcoming. Nonnie was very attentive to what I wanted to do with my hair and was able to inform me what was going on throughout the entire process! I booked an appointment for a balayage, but the inspiration pictures I sent were babylights. Nonnie gave me some tips about the differences so I really appreciated that. The hair did take 6ish hours but it was definitely worth it. Nonnie was careful and very thorough with my hair :-) Here's my before and after pictures!
My 100th review for a very special place! I wanted to get my hair done before my graduation for a fresh change and I am in love with how everything turned out. I booked a haircut and balayage with Ayaho (an absolute angel + insta handle @hairbylulu408) who worked her magic with giving me cool espresso hair that I wished for. She is so attentive in listening to what you want and I appreciate her meticulous work ethic especially when toning my hair. This salon is amazing and everyone I have spoken to was sweet as honey. I can't say enough great things about the services I've received and I look forward to getting my hair done by Ayaho in the future!
