I engaged with Blue Spade Construction for paving work and replacing my sprinkler irrigation. The work is quite substantial covering most of the driveway, backyard, and side of the house. The team that came out were wonderful to work with. Estimation and pricing were clear, and no surprise charges after the job was done. The crew showed up on time and talked through what needed to be done. When things came up, I was consulted for decisions based on things we did not anticipate. For the paving work, they did the work with high quality and speed. When I say speed, we were done in less than 10 days. I still have neighbors who have are still not done after weeks and months. They also cleaned up after and were professional through out. With a job this size, you should expect some issues here and there. They came back to address some of the issues and this just puts them at a great experience overall. I highly recommend them for paving work and would engage them for any future home construction or remodeling needs.
Blue Spade did my yard tiling project that some other companies think too challenging to do. Chris and Keith are really really pleasant to work with--on time, professional, excellent communications, great project management that kept us informed on next steps. Project finished on time with great great quality and we are very satisfied with the result. Highly recommended!
You could not ask for more in a contractor's professionalism and well-run project management. Owner Chris assigns a project manager to each project. My project was painting the exterior of my house, which required a few wall patches. Project Manager Keith stayed on top of the project, which was carried out by two dedicated painters. The senior painter was quite experienced and thought in terms of the whole job. When he found dry rot in one spot on the eaves, he carefully diagnosed how that had happened, and we worked out a plan for him to repair the area.
