absolutely NOTHING working on their site! Tried filing a complaint....came back 'error try again later', when i came back i get message saying 'reached limit for filing complaint'!??? WTH? i tried to file ONE complaint that DIDN'T go thru, haven't been on their site in months, and I've 'reached my limit'?? So i try leaving a review instead....again, error message. Tried to email them, via their website form?....'error, wouldn't go thru', tried to find a DIRECT email?....NON EXISTENT!....THIS BBB IS WORSE THAN THE Co's YOU ARE TRYING TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST!!!!
UPDATE: The owner confirmed that Raquel is, in fact, a chatbot. That raises questions for me about how this BBB location operates. It seems likely that the chatbot is provided by a technology company, which makes me wonder how that aligns with the organization's nonprofit mission.
In the same response, the owner instructed the reviewer to contact this location by email, but I have never received a follow-up when I follow up via email. If those emails are also being handled by the chatbot, that would explain the lack of communication. BBB Los Angeles ignored my refund dispute and offered only a meaningless form letter.

I filed a complaint with BBB Los Angeles last month about a refund dispute with a local furniture company. After calling the BBB several times and providing documentation, the only action they took was to mail a single form letter to the store. The office acted as if I had not already exhausted every reasonable attempt to resolve this directly, and they closed the case without mediation, follow-up, or any real effort to get the business to respond.
