Angela is an artist. She’s the real deal and her reviews are a reflection of that. I went in on a Thursday for a consultation excited but like every girl nervous about cutting my long hair. I have naturally bone straight hair and was looking for something that could give my hair ANY kind of volume, while wanting a summery balayage.

Immediately after taking a seat in Angela’s sleek and modernly designed salon I talked with her about my likes and dislikes with my hair and the frustration of feeling like my hair no matter what I did could not hold a curl due to it being so fine and straight. Angela and I talked about what I was hoping for and she asked for reference photos to have a better idea of what I wanted. Just after my haircut ALONE I was shocked at how much fuller my hair looked after Angela cut it into long layers. I scheduled my next appointment with her for 4 weeks later for a balayage.

The second appointment itself took about 6 1/2 hours but good work takes time. Angela is a total sweetheart and was super chatty (in the best way) during the entire appointment, in a way that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever and talking with her made the time fly by. Angela used the reference photos I gave her and came up with a vision of a blend of the two pictures. She consistently explained what she was doing during the whole process and made sure I understood and was comfortable the entire time. Towards the end of the appointment she even noticed a small strip of my hair that wasn’t exactly the right shade and she took the time to ensure that it was lightened just enough. Watching her work her magic I couldn’t help but smile and say how excited I was the whole time. I’m so happy with my hair and wish I had found Angela sooner. Definitely check her out if you’re thinking about going blonde or getting highlights, she’s an exceptionally talented stylist.

Angela bleached and dyed my hair emerald green and I have been getting compliments for weeks! Before my appointment she asked for inspiration photos and a photo of my hair before treatment. She started the appointment on time and made the hours-long process a really enjoyable one, even buying me coffee and making sure I had plenty of refreshments. Angela is also a great conversationalist: her easy-going demeanor puts you at ease like you're talking to an old friend and we chatted, exchanged funny stories and I before I knew it three hours passed! She even took a really cool before and after photo/ video shoot and I couldnt ve happier with the results.

Luca is the man!! When I moved to San Jose from Hayward I had to say goodbye to my old barber and felt bummed about that stressing about finding a new barber and re-establishing that relationship from scratch. However, after I started getting my haircut with Luca those feelings quickly went away and I'm happily a returning customer of almost a whole year now! Luca is quick to respond and secure an appointment, he is always on time and offers refreshments and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. My coworkers always compliment how clean and precise my haircuts are and it's all thanks to Luca. Can't recommend this dude enough!

Great service by Angela, she gave me a nice haircut. I like it ! She did a thorough job and took time to do it. Sweet lady and makes an effort to talk, I really appreciate that. Just the products used could be better, too strong for me.

Angela is the GOAT for blonde hair. I've been going to her for years and will never deviate from her. She is also the sweetest soul. I was hospitalized and she sent me a goodie bag with a ton of hair products. She is easy to schedule appointments with and very flexible. Plus, starbucks right next door!

I found this Salon online and was grateful for a same-week opening. I didn't need a major change, just decrease some weight to let my curls flourish. Be warned that the address exists in San Jose and Santa Clara. I'd recommend typing in the name of the salon into Google Maps, not the address. It took me to a small house about a mile away from the salon and was extremely confusing. After finding the salon, and being late (since I went to the incorrect address first), Angela gave me a good cut and style. Basically just long bangs and long layers. I was satisfied and left a generous tip. After my first wash, the cut wasn't exactly what I hoped it would be. I emailed Angela twice, on two different days, in hopes of a touch-up since I wasn't totally satisfied. (She doesn't list a phone number to call.) No response. I then submitted an inquiry on their website, and still radio silence. I really didn't want to leave a poor review, but after almost a month with no response and still dissatisfied with my cut, I feel like I need to. It was a fine experience, but won't be going back considering this happened.
