Most of our lights in our living room, dining room and kitchen went out suddenly a few nights ago -- we were in search of electrician to come out and American Electric responded to our Yelp inquiry very quickly. We were able to schedule the appointment online smoothly and was told an electrician would be sent out between 8am-10am on the schedule date. The date comes and to my surprise, the electrician, Ben showed up @8am! Most of the contractors and repairmen that I have dealt with in the past usually shows up later than expected timeframe or in some cases were no shows. Ben got started on diagnosing the issue and by 8:40 he was able to spot the problem and give us a rundown on where the fuse blew...etc. He was polite and friendly throughout the exchange. I also appreciated that all the invoice and payment can be done online so everything was contactless. I would definitely reach out to them again for any future electrical needs. Thanks so much!
Yarin is great! I had several outlets on the same circuit not working suddenly, and they sent someone to help diagnose it. They charge a standard diagnose fee, and if you decide to go with the suggested fix, then you pay for the fix cost and the diagnose fee can be used towards the total cost. In my case, the actual problem was quite tricky, and they spent a few hours in the late evening but couldn't get it sorted out on the first day. I was worried a bit, but Yarin promised that he will come to get it done. He showed up and did more detailed analysis and spotted where the problem hid, and fixed it all up. He also did a complete check for all outlets, switches, lights, etc on that circuit to make sure everything is absolutely done correctly. I'm very happy about the result, and would highly recommend them.
