Had the chance to play here as a guest and it did not disappoint. Classic course, beautifully maintained you can tell they take real pride in the grounds. Greens were quick and true, and the tree-lined fairways make you shape shots without beating you up. What stood out most was the people staff treated us like members from the second we arrived, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming feel that a lot of private clubs are missing. Great food in the clubhouse after the round too. First class all around.
We hosted a combined birthday and anniversary celebration, and the Almaden Golf and Country Club events team made it truly exceptional. They were professional, patient with every change, and delivered outstanding service and delicious food—all with genuine smiles through wind, rain, and finally a beautiful evening of dinner and dancing in the ballroom.
Working with Suzy, Bodhi, and Leslie was effortless; each brought a personal touch that made our guests feel welcomed and cared for. It was a wonderful night in a perfect setting. Thank you to the entire event staff for making it unforgettable.
I planned my mom's surprise 50th birthday party at Almaden for about 60 people and it was really great! Suzy was incredible to work with, really professional, responsive, and understood the vision, always asked helpful questions and provided additional touches that pulled everything together. Her and Sam were amazing to work with on site day of and can't thank them enough. Food was good and service was amazing. Thank you!!
